Members of the Swainsboro Kiwanis Club recently visited David Emanuel Academy with a check to support school programs. This donation was part of the Swainsboro Kiwanis Club’s effort to help the local community one child at a time.
Making the presentation of the monetary support was President Dianna Wedincamp and President-Elect Tammy Allen, and receiving the donation were DEA Headmaster Haylee Free and science and technology teacher Ashlei Boatright.
Free is eager to use the donation to help support the schools STEAM program. These funds will help greatly in purchasing new kits for the program and continue to stress the importance of improving science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.
