Private memorial services for Mr. Larry James Kea, 77, resident of Swainsboro, will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Louis Pearce officiating. The family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 4 to 6 p.m. During the visitation, social distancing and the use of a face covering is required. He died Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Augusta University Medical Center in Augusta.
Mr. Larry James Kea was born in Savannah, son of the late George Robert Kea and Francis Lila Hooks Kea. He was plant manager at the shirt factory and was a member of Sandy Run Baptist Church in Hampton, South Carolina.
Survivors include his daughter, Jami Kea and grandson Hendrix of Swainsboro; son, Tim Kea (Terri Williams) and children Ashleigh Williams, Allen Kea, Abby Kea, and great-grandson Peyton Williams of Metter; daughter, Melissa Kea Frost (Anthony) and children Bennett and Brinson Frost of Augusta; stepdaughter, Rachael Ruble (Bryan) and children Michael, Hayden, and Trevor of Hampton, South Carolina; stepdaughter, Rebecca Lee of Pensacola, Florida; stepdaughter, Heather Summerlin (Thomas) and children Thomas, Kyleigh, and Bradley Summerlin of Hampton, South Carolina; brothers, Wayne Kea, Gene Kea, and Phil Kea; and sister, Barbara Williams.
Tomlinson Funeral Home and Crematory of Swainsboro is in charge of arrangements.
