LET US BE THANKFUL

Patriots Park, otherwise known as the square, in full fall display

The great Charlie Brown gave us a lot to ponder when he asked, “What if today, we were just grateful for everything?”

Indeed, we have much to appreciate as Thanksgiving 2021 commences Thursday, November 25: health and wellness, family, friends, the ability to be together again after a year of separation, a bountiful harvest to dress the table with, and our beautiful town as seen in downtown Swainsboro. Chace Scarboro captured the above photo of Patriots Park earlier this week.

We all have worries and struggles, but let us cast them aside for one day and acknowledge everything good in our lives. After all, there is always something to be thankful for.

From our Chronicle family to yours, happy Thanksgiving. Our office will be closed Thursday and Friday with normal business to resume Monday, November 29.
