Martin Family is ‘thankful to live in a loving and prayerful community’

The following message was submitted to The Crossroads Chronicle on Monday morning, July 12, by Will Martin. His mother recently beat coronavirus after a six-month stay in the hospital, and the Martin Family would like to address the Emanuel County public for the support received over the last half year.

“Dear Friends of Emanuel County:

Please accept our family’s thanksgiving for your prayers, words of encouragement, and thoughtful efforts to assist us in our time of need. On December 23, 2020, our mother was admitted to the hospital. After six grueling months, we were blessed to bring her home. Were it not for the outpouring of love from many in this community to keep our family’s needs and our mother’s name nigh the throne of grace, we don’t believe we would be where we are today. Mama is still undergoing therapy for her condition, but we are hopeful that in due time, she will make a full recovery. Please continue to remember her as she undergoes these measures.

Our family is thankful to live in a loving and prayerful community. We trust that we would be the neighbors to others that you all have been to us. May God bless you for your faithfulness.
