Funeral services for Mary Ann “Bobbi” Moore, 81 of Twin City, were held Monday, March 29, 2021 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Ray Braddy officiating. Interment followed at Old Canoochee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends Monday, March 29, 2021 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, the 6’ rule was enforced during the visitation and service. She passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah following an extended illness.
Mrs. Mary Ann “Bobbi” Moore was born May 30, 1939 in Statesboro to the late Johnny Baker and Pauline Williams Baker. She loved flowers, gardening, crafts, and fishing. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and worked at Twin City Shirt Factory, Argo Mills, and Ogeechee Home Health. She was a member of Twin City First Baptist Church for 43 years, and she was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gary Turner; and sisters, Kathleen Nichols, Patia Martin, and Ann (Billi) Tucker.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Jerry Moore of Twin City; son, Stebo (Stacy) Moore of Twin City; brothers, Gene (Louise) Baker and Robert Baker, both of Twin City; sister, Linda (Kenny) Rich of Twin City; grandchildren, Chandler Moore, Mabry Moore, and Wes Wammock, all of Twin City, as well as Morgan Rich of Garfield; great-grandchildren, Addi Rich and Gray Rich; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers were Trai Johnson, Timmy Baker, Johnny Baker, Jimmy Neal, Rosby McKenzie, and Tim Durden. Honorary pallbearers were Wes Wammock and Robbie Baker.
Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
