Meet The Doctor: Gabrielle Story PA-C

Gabrielle Story PA-C serves Emanuel County in and out of Ray Medical Clinic, where has practiced since 2018. Being raised in Swainsboro has given Story the chance to connect within the community by making a difference in her patients’ lives.

After graduating from David Emanuel Academy in 2010, Story went on to Georgia Southern University to receive a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in coaching. She succeeded in all her academic endeavors while juggling the challenges of being a member of the Georgia Southern softball team.

Story’s inspiration to serve comes all from her family. Her parents have led the way to her success by teaching her to treat everyone with love. “They have always pushed me to be the best I can be. They have taught me to work hard and do things the right way,” said Story. “They taught me to treat everyone with love and respect.”

Shortly after graduating from Georgia Southern University, Story set her eyes on South University’s PA program and graduated in 2018. Her main goal was to always make a difference where she could. “I wanted to become a PA to be able to help those in need. It was just a bonus being able to help people in my community,” said Story.

Getting started in her career path was challenging, but Story nevertheless persisted. She could not have done it without the help of Dr. Ray, Karri Ray PA-C, Brooke Stubbs PA-C, or Scott Sanders PA-C.

Serving the Emanuel County community is something that means more than just a job to Story. “I love the fact that I can give back to the people who have supported and loved me throughout my life. Not only is the staff at Ray Medical Clinic my family, but our patients are like family, too! It makes a difference when you are involved in people’s lives on so many levels. Not everyone is fortunate enough to get to know their patients on a personal level like Mikey and I do,” said Story.

Story constantly serves her community outside of where she practices by serving her alma mater, David Emanuel Academy, as medical personnel for the football team. In the spring, Story is excited to help her lifelong friend and former teammate, Laura Webb, coach the DEA Lady Eagles softball team.
