Melinda Louise Ramirez, 51

Memorial services for Melinda Louise Ramirez, 51 of Dublin, were held Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Mr. Allen Green officiating. She passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Serenity Hospice following an extended illness.

Mrs. Melinda Louise Ramirez was born March 8, 1970 in Swainsboro to the late Colon Cox and Linda Corbin Plata. She enjoyed cross-stitching, arts and crafts, and watching the television. She was always well-liked, never met a stranger, and loved to have a good time. Mrs. Ramirez also loved her fur babies. A Christian by faith, she was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Andrew Sam.

Survivors include her spouse, Gilberto Martinez of Dublin; sons, Jesse Sam of Bangor, Maine and Max Ramirez of Eastman; daughters, Naomi Whitworth (Jeffrey) of Sandersville, Alicia Plata of Kite, and Angelica Eliosa Ramirez of Dublin; seven grandchildren; and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
