Middle school Dawgs move to next round

ECI’s middle school baseball team has advanced to the next round of the playoffs! The team beat Claxton at home in Twin City this past Monday night.

The Bulldogs needed only three innings to get the job done, blowing out the Tigers 17-3 to improve to an impressive 13-0 record on the year.

The next round will be played Thursday at 4:30 p.m. with the opponent to be determined. The Dawgs have played well enough throughout the year to stay at home again in two days.

“Any time you win in the playoffs is a good win,” Head Coach John Hodges said. “We had multiple guys contribute offensively and defensively. We hope to continue this effort as we pursue another win on Thursday.”
