Miss Armstrongto wed Mr. Akridge

Curtis and Kellie Armstrong of Swainsboro are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Miss Jada Kelli Armstrong, to Mr. Christopher Blake Akridge, son of Chris and Pam Akridge of Twin City.

The bride-elect is a 2021 honor graduate of Swainsboro High School and an employee of CPR Fitness & Tan. Her grandparents include Sandra J. Chapman of Swainsboro, Marilyn H. Armstrong of Swainsboro, the late Billy V. Chapman Sr., and the late Curtis K. “Cobb” Armstrong.

The future groom graduated from Emanuel County Institute in 2019 and works at Chris’s Truck Repair in Swainsboro. His grandparents are James G. Akridge and Ann M. Akridge of Twin City as well as the late Larry L. Sheppard Sr. and the late Jean W. Sheppard.

Miss Armstrong and Mr. Akridge will meet October 29, 2022 at 5 p.m. at The Frog Pad in Lyons to swap vows. A reception will follow at the same location. Formal invitations will be sent. Their wedding website is www.zola.com/wedding/blake-jada.
