Miss Bailey to marry Mr. McMahan

Proud parents Kelly and Will Thompson of Statesboro and Larry Bailey of Swainsboro are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Miss Falan Bailey, to Mr. Ronnie McMahan, son of Pat McMahan and Ron McMahan of Metter.

The bride-elect graduated from Swainsboro High School and obtained her cosmetology license from Ogeechee Tech. She is currently a hair stylist at Shine Salon in Statesboro. Miss Bailey is the granddaughter of Rita Woods of Statesboro, Dot Kirby of Swainsboro, the late Clinton Porter, and the late Larry Bailey.

The future groom is a graduate of Metter High School. Today, he works as an electrician with Thompson Electric. Mr. McMahan is the grandson of the late Charles Vernon McMahan, the late Helen Margueritte McMahan, the late C.W. Ray, and the late Ladessa Ray.

The two will wed May 22, 2021 at 6 p.m. at The Copper Barn in Portal. Formal invitations will be sent. They are registered on amazon.com and at Walmart, and their wedding website is www.theknot.com/ronnieandfalan. The happy couple began dating in July 2015 and became engaged on February 29, 2020.
