Miss Coleman, Mr. Nail to wed this spring


Mr. and Mrs. D. Vince Coleman of Meeks announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Caitlan Elizabeth Coleman, to Mr. Gordon Gregory Nail Jr. of Atlanta. The future groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Nail of Conroe, Texas.


Miss Coleman is a 2014 graduate of Swainsboro High School and a 2016 graduate of East Georgia State College. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Miss Coleman is currently employed as Legislative Liaison to the House and Policy Advisor in the Office of Governor Brian P. Kemp.


The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Martin of Kite, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Coleman of Meeks, Peggie Akridge of Stillmore, and the late Jean Braddy.


Mr. Nail is a 2012 graduate of Swainsboro High School and a 2017 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering. He is currently employed as a software engineer for Home Depot.


The future groom is the grandson of the late Betty C. Fennell, the late Lee Herrington, the late Gordon E. Nail, and Nancy A. Nail of Vidalia.


The private wedding ceremony will be held in late April. The happy couple started dating in 2011 and became engaged on July 25, 2020.
