Miss Thompson showered ahead of upcoming wedding

On July 17 at 12 p.m., Miss Janah Thompson joined family and friends for a bridal shower at Georgia Sports Arena in Swainsboro.

Hostesses Michelle Hart, Sara Sutton, Brenda Wilkerson, Jami Williamson, and Janelle Langley served cake pops, Oreo balls, chips and dip, pigs in the blanket, cheese dip, a spread of fruit, pretzel sticks, cheese sticks, and little smokies to the soon-to-be bride, who chose a fitted, one-shoulder, white dress for the event, and her guests.

Miss Thompson and her future groom, Mr. Justin Hart of Swainsboro, received many gifts at the shower. Some of these items included a shower curtain, bathroom essentials, a down comforter, decorations for the bachelorette trip, wedding decor, gift cards, and pots and pans.

The couple are to marry in October.
