Runners descended upon the campus of East Georgia State College in Swainsboro in unusually warm temperatures for this time of year as the running of the 8th Annual Kiwanis Resolution Run came to fruition.

Registration for the 5K began at 7:30 a.m. with the official start at 9. It was a balmy 70o.

Morris, as the overall winner in the male division, hails from Swainsboro. He cemented the win with a time of 23 minutes and 52 seconds.

Jarvis, another Swainsboro native, solidified herself as the overall winner in the female division with a time of 22 minutes and 18 seconds. This same time was the best overall of anyone in the race.
