Mrs. Vivian Connie Price Upton, 79

Mrs. Vivian Connie Price Upton, 79, of Wadley, Georgia died on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at her home surrounded by family. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lamb’s Chapel Methodist Church with Rev. Chad Watkins and Rev. Chris Shoemaker officiating. The family received friends at the church one hour prior to the time of services.

Mrs. Upton was born in Wadley, Ga. to the late Clifford L. and Helen Brinson Lamb Price. She was a member of Lamb’s Chapel United Methodist Church serving as the Church Treasurer.

Survivors include, her husband of 60 years, Mr. John S. Upton, Sr. of Wadley, Ga.; daughters, Cindy L. Prigge (Marty), Janet L. Wilson (Stephen), and Helen Kimberly Upton; son, John S. Upton, Jr.; grandchildren, Lauren Hildebrand, Jessica Shelby, Megan Williams, Taylor Blocker, Matthew Blocker, Abbie Johnson, Kelsey Upton, Victoria Smith, Sophia Zumbro, Stephen Wilson, Jr., Allison Wilson, and Caitlyn Wilson; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Lamar Brinson Price; and sisters, Helen Clifford Long and Barbara Price Green.

Pallbearers were Jeff Brunswick, Marlon Anderson, Taylor Blocker, and Matthew

Blocker.

Tomlinson Funeral Home and Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
