Police report
On May 8th, one male was arrested after a routine traffic stop yielded that he was driving with suspended driver’s license, driving with no insurance or registration.
On May 8th officers were called to Harvey’s to assist with a shop lifter.
Officers were called to Hwy 56 N to take a report of criminal trespass.
On May 11th a male was arrested for driving while license is suspended or revoked.
On May 11th a male was issued a warning for no tag light and an official notice of driver’s license being suspended for child support payments.
On May 10th officers responded to a call at Walmart in reference to a female shop lifter.
On May 11th officers were called to Walmart to assist with another shop lifting case.
On May 11th officers were called to Tractor Supply to assist with a shoplifting case.
On May 11th officers were called to South Main St in reference to a dispute.
Officers were dispatched to E Pine St in reference to a criminal trespass.
One female was arrested from King Circle drive and charged with a tag light requirement, DUI, and driving while license is suspended.
Officers were dispatched to North Racetrack St in reference to a dispute.
Officers were called to Crump St, in reference to terroristic threats and acts.
One female was arrested after a routine traffic stop. She was charged with possession of drug related objects, possession of methamphetamine, failure to maintain lane and a seatbelt violation.
On May 6th a female was pulled over for not having a tag light. The driver was issued a citation for no insurance on the vehicle. The vehicle was then towed.
On May 7th an officer was dispatched to Modoc Rd in reference to an aggravated assault.
An officer was called to McMillian Drive to take a report from a female that stated that sometime during the night someone threw eggs at her vehicle.
On May 7th officers were called to New Street to make a report of a robbery.
One female was arrested on Lucky Street for operating an unregistered vehicle and for driving with license was suspended/revoked.
On May 8th three females were arrested on South Main Street. The first was charged with possession of alcoholic beverage by a minor and littering, the second was charged with possession of tobacco by a minor, and possession of alcoholic beverage by a minor, and the third was charged with possession of tobacco by a minor, possession of alcoholic beverage by a minor, speeding and DUI. All three were booked in Emanuel County Jail.
On May 8th an officer observed two four wheelers on the roadway behind Enmarket. One of the drivers pulled over and was given a verbal warning. The other driver fled the scene. A warrant was taken for this driver for ATV on the roadway, fleeing attempting to elude, failure to stop at stop sign x2, and failure to maintain lane.
An officer was called to N Main St to take report on a vehicle that was damaged.
A female visited the Swainsboro Police Station on May 8th to make a report of theft by deception.
Officers were called to New St in reference to a domestic dispute. One male was arrested and charged with aggravated assault of terroristic threats and acts of cruelty to children 3rd degree, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and obstruction law enforcement.
On May 8th officers were called to Enmarket in reference to a shoplifter.
On May 8th officers were called to Gumlog Road in reference to a male subject with a gun.
Officers were called to the Budget Inn in reference to damage to property.
Officers were called to Walmart on May 9th in reference to a shoplifter.
On May 2nd officers were called to Enmarket to make a report of a shoplifter.
On May 2nd one male offender was issued a citation for possession of marijuana less than one oz.
On May 1st an officer met with a female at the Swainsboro Police Station to take a report of battery that occurred the night before.
On May 2nd a male subject entered the Swainsboro Police Department to make a report of being bit by a dog.
On May 2nd an officer was called to Central Street to make a report of damaged property, false imprisonment, and criminal trespass.
On May 3rd officers were dispatched to Norwood Ave to make a report of theft by taking.
Officers were called to Kite Road to make a report of assault.
On May 4th officers were called to Alice Circle to a female that had locked herself in the bathroom and was refusing to come out. She was eventually arrested and charged with failure to comply with officers, and disorderly conduct.
An officer was called to Easy Stop in reference to an illegal drug that was dropped on the floor.
On May 4th an officer noticed a vehicle that appeared to have bullet holes in the driver’s side door. Upon further investigation it was discovered the driver was driving while his license was suspended, the driver was then arrested and booked in Emanuel County Jail.
One man was cited for possession of drug related objects after an officer observed him soliciting patrons in a parking lot.
