RESCHEDULED: Wounded Warriors 11th Annual Sportsman’s Banquet and Auction

The Wounded Warrior Retreat, originally set to host its 11th annual banquet at Beaver Creek on September 29th at 5 p.m., has been rescheduled to October 6th at 5 p.m.

Wounded Warrior Retreat, Inc. (WWR) is a nonprofit 501 C3 organization that depends on donations to support its events. The majority of those donations come from their annual banquet at Beaver Creek. WWR hosts an abundance of events for veterans each year, including deer, quail, pheasant, and turkey hunts, golfing, fishing, and skeet shooting. WWR was founded by the pastor of Pine Hill Baptist Church in Hephzibah, Robert Driggers, in 2010. Since, WWR has provided spiritual healing, mentoring, support, and fellowship for veterans and their families through sportsman activities.

Tickets to the banquet are $50 each. This includes a prime rib supper, a chance to win a Henry Goldenboy rifle, and entrance to the live and silent auction. WWR is also soliciting items for auction.

To purchase tickets and/or discuss items you would like to donate for auction, contact Terry Reynolds at 478-494-3758.
