President Cerpovicz speaks to Kiwanis

The Kiwanis Club of Swainsboro held its weekly meeting Tuesday night, December 10, at the Rustic Grille at 6:30 p.m. With President Paul Cerpovicz presiding, they had 8 in attendance. Tim Goodman won the homemade cookies baked by President Cerpovicz, Cheryl Goodman won the Domino’s Pizza donated by Domino’s and Dianna Wedincamp and Jeff Palmer won the Vidalia onion dressings. The club participated in the Swainsboro Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 7, at 5:30 p.m. The club also collected Little Dutch Maid cookies for Weekend Blessings. Thank you to those Kiwanians who participated in these events. The Franklin Memorial Library’s “Breakfast with Santa” at 10 a.m. and “Lunch with Santa” at 12 p.m. took place Saturday, December 7. Thank you to those Kiwanians who helped serve the meals. Kiwanis will be distributing the Christmas bikes to kids on Wednesday, December 18, after 3 p.m. at the Swainsboro Early Learning Center/Pre-K, you need to be there around 2 p.m. to get things set up. Please try to be there if you can!
