Princess Middleton, age 50, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025, following a brief illness. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, July 12, at 11 a.m. at the Swainsboro City Auditorium with Rev. Matthew Davis, Sr. officiating and Rev. Joel Davis presiding.

Princess was born September 12, 1974, at Jefferson Hospital, to the late Arthur Lee Middleton and Queen Esther Lambry Middleton. She graduated from Swainsboro High School in 1994 and later graduated from Swainsboro Technical College and East Georgia College. Princess was employed with the Emanuel County Board of Education and East Georgia State College. She was hard working woman whose career reflected her love for people and learning. Princess’ impact was felt by students, co-workers and community members. Miss Middleton is preceded in death by her father; five aunts; and four uncles.

Miss Middleton leaves to cherish her memories with her mother; daughters, Zariah Reese and Kirah Middleton, both of Swainsboro; sister, Victoria Middleton of Swainsboro; three nephews, Robert Johnson, Jr., Victor Middleton and Tony Smith III, all of Swainsboro; special friend, Joseph Pearson of Swainsboro; five aunts; two uncles; best friend, Shawanica Roberts of Atlanta; and a host of other family and friends.

Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
