Mr. Raymond Lewis McNure, age 78 of Madison, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024. Funeral service was conducted on Thursday, June 27, at 2 p.m. at Madison Baptist Church. Burial fol-lowed in the Madison City Cemetery with Military Honors.

Mr. McNure was born November 8, 1945, in Swainsboro, to the late Martha Grace Moody and Joseph George McNure. Raymond served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1965 until 1969. He retired after 45 years of employment from AT&T. Mr. McNure is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, William McNure, Russell McNure and Lamar McNure.

Mr. McNure is survived by his wife, Sally Dickson McNure; children, Sarah Payne (Robbie), Wesley McNure (Jackie), Alex McNure (Taryn) and Emily DeOliveira (Mikey); seven grand-children; siblings, George McNure, Virginia Wilson, Roger McNure, Edith Wilson and Frank McNure; and several nieces and nephews.

Conner-Westbury Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
