Robins Financial Credit Union is pleased to announce that they are now accepting applications for their 2025 Community Project initiative, an annual grant program designed to provide support to nonprofit organizations making a lasting impact within the credit union’s 45-county service area.

Created with a mission to uplift and empower communities, Community Project provides significant financial assistance to 501(c)3 organizations working to improve the quality of life for individuals and families. This funding is specifically intended to support large-scale projects that might otherwise be cost-prohibitive for many nonprofit groups.

“At Robins Financial, we believe in the power of partnership and the importance of giving back to the communities we serve,” said Christina O’Brien, President & CEO of Robins Financial Credit Union. “Community Project allows us to support the vital work of local nonprofits that are addressing needs and creating meaningful change.”

Since beginning this initiative in 2015, Robins Financial has awarded $1.8 million in Community Project funding to more than 100 organizations throughout Middle Georgia. Last year, fourteen deserving groups were selected as recipients, including the Rockdale County Public Schools Foundation, which utilized the grant to advance its mission of supporting local students.

“Rockdale County Public Schools’ Be Right, Eat Right summer meal program has successfully operated as a mobile summer feeding initiative for more than a decade,” shared Susan Paul Smith, Board Chair of the Rockdale County Public School Foundation. “This critical program ensures all children in the Rockdale County community have access to nutritious meals during the summer. We are grateful to have received the Community Project grant to support this initiative.”

Robins Financial Credit Union is committed to making a difference by supporting those who serve others. All eligible nonprofit organizations within the credit union’s 45-county service area are encouraged to apply. The deadline to submit your online application is Friday, May 9, at noon. Detailed information, including a full list of eligibility requirements and the online

application form, can be found by visiting the Robins Financial website at www.robinsfcu.org/2025-community-project.

Robins Financial Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit, financial cooperative committed to upholding its mission to be Member Focused. Financial Partners. Community Proud. Chartered in 1954 by a group of 13 Robins Air Force Base civilian and military personnel, the financial institution now serves more than 273,000 members across the state of Georgia and beyond.
