Minister Sanjnett Simmons, age 70, entered into eternal rest embraced by God’s love on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. A Celebration of Life was held at Trinity Baptist Church.

Sanjnett was born August 14, 1955, to the late Walter and Eloise Simmons. She dedicated herself to faithful service as a devoted member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. Sanjnett served the congregation as one of its ministers and was a cherished member of the choir. She was a dedicated employee of PruittHealth Swainsboro for many years. Sanjnett enjoyed outings, and entertaining during the holidays. Her amazing sense of humor was a gift to all who knew her.

Miss Simmons is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Louisa Benjamin and Walter Mae Bell; and brother, Derman Simmons.

Miss Simmons leaves to cherish her memories with her sister, Gertrude Edmond of Swainsboro; brother, Berman Simmons (Teresa) of Chicago; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and devoted friends.

Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
