The 2025 Georgia National Fair in Perry had a record breaking attendance of 612,706 visitors, surpassing the previous record of 565,000. Georgia Agriculture Exposition Authority is already looking ahead to next year’s event, which is scheduled for October 8-18, 2026.
Representing Emanuel County in photography was Wanda Thompson Scarboro. She won the Award of Excellence in monochrome. Her winning entry was titled ‘Bashful’. A total of 686 photographs were judged and on display at the Miller-Murphy-Howard Building. Entries remained on display throughout the fair.
