Swainsboro Police Department has received a total of 222 applications with a total of 329 children for the Shop with a Cop event. They will be working through all of this and making calls when the children are chosen. Please be patient as they go through this process.
The date for the event will be Monday, December 8. Applicants who are chosen will meet at the Swainsboro City Auditorium at 5 p.m., followed by a ride in the police car to Walmart, where they will Shop with a Cop at 6 p.m.
