Officers with the Swainsboro Police Department (SPD) reported…

May 16

Officer issued citations for possession of marijuana, failure to stop at a stop sign, and expired registration.

Officer responded to Lee St. in reference to a domestic violence call. Offender had left the residence before police arrival so warrants were taken out.

Officer responded to E. Main St. in reference to a report of harassment.

Officer responded to Washington St. in reference to a report of an unruly juvenile refusing to go to school.

Officer responded to New St. in reference to a reported theft of money.

May 17

Officer arrested offender for operating an unregistered vehicle, possession of marijuana, and open container.

Officer responded to Modoc Rd. in reference to a call about a break-in.

Officers were dispatched to Alice Cir. in reference to a stolen bicycle. C/p presented footage of offender taking the bicycle.

Officer took a walk -n report in reference to damage to vehicle.

Officer was dispatched to Fortune Loop in reference to a single car accident.

May 18

Officer arrested offender for DUI.

Officers were dispatched to Mary Ann St. in reference to a report of a female allegedly stealing money from another individual. Offender gave a false identity to officer and was arrested.

Officer responded to Sheppard Dr. in reference to a report of theft.

Officer was dispatched to S. Central St. in reference to a call about a theft. C/p stated his keys for his slot machines, ice storage, and propane tanks were stolen.

Officer assisted GSP with an illegal drug investigation on New St. Offender was arrested.

May 19

911 contacted officer stating that an unknown caller was making threats to nursing staff at Emanuel Medical Center.

Officer was dispatched to N. Anderson St. in reference to complainant stating her mother threatened bodily harm to her.

Officer was dispatched to New St. in reference to transporting a man to EmCo Jail for an active probation warrant.

Officer was dispatched to Emanuel Medical Center ER for a gunshot wound to the hand.

Officers arrived at Enmarket and made an arrest on offender who had active warrants.

Officer arrested offender for DUI.

Officers responded to N. Racetrack St. in reference to c/p stating that a vehicle was parked in their spot.

Officers responded to N. Main St. in reference to c/p needing to make a report on her boyfriend threatening her and her child.

Officer was dispatched to Enmarket in reference to shoplifting. Offender was trespassed.

Officer responded to E. Main St. in reference to a reported theft. Surveillance footage was retrieved.

May 20

Officer wrote offender citations for no insurance on the vehicle.

Officer took a walk-in report where c/p stated that she received a bill from Verizon but does not use that carrier.

May 21

Officers were dispatched to W. Church St. in reference to a dog attack.

Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with a passenger not properly wearing a seatbelt. The passenger was found to have an arrest warrant and was taken into custody.

May 22

Officer was dispatched to Price St. in reference to a complaint of roadway damage caused by heavy equipment.

Officer took a walk-in report where c/p stated she was stopped at a redlight when a vehicle backed into her.

Complainant went to SPD to make a report in reference to not receiving his tag in the mail.

SPD received a call regarding an individual who had previously been trespassed from Walmart in Vidalia, but was on the premises of the Swainsboro location. Offender was issued a warning.

Complainant went to SPD to file a report against her employer for not paying her the money that he owed her for working.

Officer responded to Lee St. in reference to a report of violation of a TPO. Offender left before officers arrived.

Officer arrested offender for DUI.

Officer responded to S. Main St. in reference to a report of property damage.
