Mrs. Susan Lynn Adams, age 64 of Elberton passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at her residence. She was born May 14, 1960 in Valdosta, GA. Funeral services were held Sunday, February 16 at 2:30 p.m. from Rogers Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Bray officiating with the interment following in the church cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2-4 p.m.

Mrs. Adams was born in Valdosta to the late Vernon and Clara Weatherington Asbell. Mrs. Adams was retired from Elbert County School System.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Adams was also preceded in death by her sister, Stephanie Asbell.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband, Brent Adams of Elberton; son, Michael Snover (Hannah) of Charlotte, NC; grandson, Wyatt Snover; sisters, Deon Asbell and Lisa Berg both of Swainsboro; niece, Hope Newsome; nephew, Trevor Netto; and great nephew, Justin Newsome.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the America Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce was in charge of arrangements.
