Swainsboro High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter recently participated in the FBLA State Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, where students demonstrated their knowledge and skills in a variety of competitive events. This prestigious conference brought together top student competitors from across the state, and Swainsboro High School proudly recognized several outstanding achievements.

Among those who competed in testing events, Joy Jackson participated in Accounting I, Adam Kay competed in Financial Math, Emma Irvin represented the school in Intro to Business Communication, and Rileigh Andrews competed in Intro to Business Procedures.

In the performance-based events, Adam Kay and Kylie advanced to the final rounds in Broadcast Journalism. Brianna Gilmore competed in Client Service, Kayleiana Swilley participated in the Future Business Educator competition, and Dei’Vion Davis showcased his skills in Impromptu Speaking.

In addition to these individual achievements, Swainsboro High School’s FBLA chapter received the prestigious Gold Champion Chapter award and was recognized as a Silver Chapter of the Year. These honors highlight the dedication and excellence of the school’s business education program.

FBLA advisers and school representatives expressed their pride in the students’ hard work and commitment to professional development. Competitions such as these not only prepare students for future careers in business but also help them develop leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills that will benefit them beyond the classroom. Swainsboro High School congratulates all the students who participated and looks forward to continuing its tradition of excellence in FBLA competitions.
