Tankersley installs Mill Creek Chapter officers

The Mill Creek Chapter Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution held their monthly meeting Tuesday night, January 20, at the Ole Timey Restaurant in Statesboro at 6 p.m. With President Randy Jones presiding, they had 10 in attendance. President Randy led the Pledge to the U.S. Flag and the Pledge to the Sons of the American Revolution, then asked Vice President Frank Parker to say the invocation. President Randy then introduced the Georgia Society Senior Vice President Bill Tankersley to install the Mill Creek Chapter 2026 officers: President Randy Jones, Vice President Frank Parker, Secretary/Treasurer Randy Jones, Registrar Dess Smith III, Chaplain Randy Jones, Sgt. at Arms Randy Jones, Editor Dess Smith III and Genealogist Hu Daughtry. President Randy then presented his slide presentation on the Brier Creek Battlefield and its history since 2014, then led the SAR Recessional and VP Frank said the benediction.
