Technology donation supports ECI students’ future success

Thanks to Compudopt’s generosity, several Emanuel County Institute (ECI) seniors received laptop computers to help them pursue their goals after graduation. The laptops were presented to Kaitlyn Spicer, Hailey Way, Madison Walker, Tyler Foreman, and Ronnee’ Swain-Russell during ECI’s Apply to College Day. Counselor Mandy Rigdon remarked, “With these generous donations, our students will now have access to their own personal device and the technology support they need throughout their time in college.”

Compudopt, a non-profit organization, empowers communities by providing access to technology and educational resources. Their impact goes beyond simply distributing computers; the program transforms lives, enhances digital literacy, and supports students’ long-term educational and career success.
