Thomas Gray, age 76, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Candler Hospital in Metter, after an extended illness. A Celebration of Life was held Sunday, May 5, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Wiggins officiating and Pastor Karen Jones presiding. Interment followed in Swainsboro City Cemetery.

Thomas was born June 28, 1947, in New Jersey, to the late Anne Belle King and Shay Gray. He enlisted into the Army on December 13, 1966 and served until June 12, 1968. Mr. Gray is preceded in death by his parents; and grandson, Zaveion Ricks.

Mr. Gray leaves to cherish his memories with his sons, Thomas Ike DeVouil (Melissa) and Hananzas Ricks, both of Swainsboro; grandsons, Kendrick DeVouil (Tiffany) of Augusta, Tavarius DeVouil and Michael Stanford, Jr., both of Swainsboro; granddaughters, Ikera DeVouil, Alexius DeVouil and Rayvan DeVouil, all of Swainsboro; and eight great-grandchildren, Malaundre DeVouil, Genesis Reese, Kaden DeVouil, Princeton DeVouil, Jaxon Bishop, Zaylee DeVouil, Aroya Cook and Malayshia Stanford.

Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
