The Patrick Carr Rangers Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution held its monthly meeting at President David Hargrove’s home in Waynesboro on Monday, December 8, at 6:30 p.m. With President David Hargrove presiding, they had six in attendance including guests. President David opened the meeting with a welcome and a prayer, then the Pledge to the U.S. Flag and the Pledge to the SAR. They then enjoyed a great meal prepared by President Hargrove. President David then called on Dess Smith for a special presentation. Dess presented President David with a Chapter Flag Streamer for Dess presenting the Patrick Carr Rangers chapter wreath at the 247th Anniversary Battle at Fort Morris, ‘Come and Take It’ on November 22. Dess then presented President David with the NSSAR Certificate for supporting Partners in Patriotism as part of their Patriotic Outreach in 2024. President David called on Treasurer Bill Tinley for a special report on the Revolutionary War.
