Wallace “Anthony” Turner, age 44, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 7, 2026, after a brief illness. A Celebration of Life was held Friday, February 13, at 2 p.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Church with Pastor James Middleton officiating and Elder George Turner presiding.

Anthony was born December 9, 1981, in Emanuel County, to Wallace Lee and Lillie Turner. He attended Emanuel County Schools. Anthony had a sweet, loving spirit and didn’t’ mind hugging and greeting everyone that he met. He loved going to church and loved music, good preaching, singing and praising the Lord. Though Anthony’s time on Earth was far too brief, it is believed that God took him home to be with him, to a place he can rest and not suffer anymore. He was a fighter and fought a good fight and finished his course. Anthony’s smile and laughter will be missed, and his hugs and kisses will never be forgotten.

Mr. Turner leaves to cherish his loving memories with his parents; brother, Jason Turner of Atlanta; niece, Jacorra Turner of Atlanta; and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
