Wynn signs to play professional soccer

Alexander Wynn, son of Dr. Mirna and Terrance Wynn, was born in 2007 in Atlanta. He started playing soccer at the age of eight and his love for the game manifested itself more and more. Alexander played soccer through 10th grade while attending Cobb County Public schools. During those years, he played Right Back and Mid-Field positions in Atlanta United Youth Academy. In 2023, prior to his 11th grade school year, Alexander transferred to IMG Academy, a preparatory boarding school and sports training destination in Bradenton, Florida where he completed his junior and senior years of high school and played Left Wing position for the academy’s soccer team. A 2025 honor graduate from IMG, Alexander’s soccer career has taken a tremendous leap forward to a level that many student athletes only dream about achieving. He has moved on to the professional soccer team, Sporting Kansas City U19 team in the position of Left Wing. Alexander is the grandson of Dr. Elaine and Raymond Wynn of Atlanta, and the great-grandson of Eddie Lawrence of Swainsboro.
