The Exchange Club of Swainsboro welcomed Emanuel County Administrator Guy Singletary as the guest speaker at its regular meeting held on August 11. Club member Jim Sherrod introduced Singletary, who provided members with an informative update on property taxes and the factors affecting local taxpayers.
Singletary discussed the county’s financial outlook, current challenges, and efforts to manage resources while continuing to provide essential services to the community. His presentation gave members a better understanding of the county’s operations and the issues facing Emanuel County.
