Miss Screws, Mr. Sheridan announce engagement

Karin Screws of Kite, and the late Keith Screws, are pleased to announce the engagement and

forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Buckley Screws, to Kevin Sheridan of Albany, NY. Mr.

Sheridan is the son of Julie Mathy Sheridan of Saratoga, NY and David Sheridan of Delmar, NY.

The bride-elect is the 2011 Valedictorian of Swainsboro High School and a 2015 graduate of

University of Georgia with a B.S. in Management Information Systems. Miss Screws is the

granddaughter of Betty Screws and the late Dr. Robert Screws of Swainsboro and Rev. Douglas

and Faye Patterson of Savannah.

The future groom graduated with a B.S. in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering from RPI in 2015. He worked for Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah before moving to Atlanta with Buckley to pursue an M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, graduating in 2019. He is currently working for Lockheed Martin in Marietta. Mr. Sheridan is the grandson of Mary Susan and Charles J. Mathy, Jr. of LaCrosse, WI and the late Robert and Denise Sheridan of Marcellus, NY.

Buckley and Kevin met while working together as interns at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation.

They currently live in Atlanta with their rescue cat, Pretty Kitty “PK”.
