Officers with the Swainsboro Police Department (SPD) reported…

November 6

Officers were dispatched to N. Coleman St. and MLK in reference to a possible accident. It was discovered that it was not an accident but a fight. Complainant stated her son was at a residence and got jumped by two people. C/p stated offender took her phone and threw it and she could not find it and stated offender told c/p she was going to get someone to shoot up her house.

Officer was advised to do a damage to property report in reference to a truck on the property causing damage to a sidewalk.

November 7

Officers were dispatched to Center St. in reference to a male breaking glass trying to hurt himself. Officer was met on the front porch by complainant who stated the male subject was in her bedroom breaking glass. Officers made entry and could hear screaming and yelling and saw a male subject laying on the floor screaming. Officers gave verbal commands for the male to show his hands and was able to get him handcuffed. Offender was escorted out of the apartment where EMS and other officer were and advised he used crack cocaine earlier in the morning. Offender was transported to EMC then to EmCo Jail.

Officer responded to Lucky Spot in reference to a theft. Complainant advised her wallet was on the counter and left it accidentally and advised a male subject appeared to be suspicious and believes he took it.

Officers were dispatched to Dollar General in reference to a shoplifter. Officers spoke with offender and recovered items from his pockets. Offender stated he did not have anything else on him and while frisking him for weapons, other items from the store were found in his waistband and on his person. Officer found a large white substance in offender’s front pocket suspected to be crack cocaine and some marijuana. Offender gave a false DOB and was transported to EmCo Jail.
