The Swainsboro Rotary Club met on November 6, at the Rustic Grill. They had two visitors at the meeting, Rusty Lane and Will Donaldson. The speaker for the meeting was Mary Charles Howard, Executive Director of the Georgia Hi-Lo trail. She informed the group about the potential route for the trail and some of the funding details. This would be a 285-mile trail from Athens to Savannah. It would be the longest trail in America and could be used by the public for a walking trail also. The next meeting will be Monday, Nov. 13.
