Citizens Bank donates to Wreaths Across America

To help kick off the 2026 Wreaths Across America project, the Citizens Bank of Swainsboro had members of the Veterans at the Library pick up a check for $500.00 to help place wreaths on some veterans’ graves that do not have anyone to pay for them a Christmas Wreath. The Citizens Bank of Swainsboro is an annual supporter not only financially, but through their Student Advisory Board assisting with placing wreaths throughout the county’s cemeteries. The banks Student Advisory Board has representatives from all three local high schools, Swainsboro High School, Emanuel County Institute and David Emanuel Academy. This year, Veteran’s at the Library will be placing over 2,500 wreaths on veteran’s graves on December 12, in some of the more than 180 cemeteries in Emanuel County.
