Our sleuths did not get “alarmed” by the clues that led them to the Swainsboro Fire Department for the final location to get their new books. Thanks to the great staff at the Fire Department for giving out the books and supporting our summer literacy project again this year.
The 2026 Scavenger Hunt for Books has completed with 90 children participating! This Family Connection sponsored summer program is an annual project to promote literacy, family engagement, and local business involvement. Many thanks to each of the 8 businesses that were our secret locations this summer. We would also like to thank The Forest-Blade, Daniels Chevrolet, East Georgia Healthcare and Mill Creek Foundation for the funding to purchase the great books.
