Mrs. Brenda Sue Conley, 62, of Swainsboro, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held Sunday, February 4, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Arthur Conley officiating. Interment followed in Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, February 4, at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Terry Cox, Randall Atkinson, Jr., John Atkinson, David Ashley, George Jones and Ronnie Bolton.

Mrs. Conley was born July 29, 1961, in Swainsboro, to the late Edward Harrison Smith and Nellie Joyce Marsh Moore. She loved spending time with her family. Brenda enjoyed crocheting, crossword search puzzles and video games on her phone including coloring by number. She married the love of her life, Lonnie Conley, on May 13, 1977. Brenda loved all her family dearly. Mrs. Conley is preceded in death by her parents; and son, Robert Lee Conley.

Mrs. Conley is survived by her husband of 47 years, Lonnie Edward Conley, Sr. of Swainsboro; son, Lonnie Edward Conley, Jr. of Swainsboro; daughter, Brenda Ann Conley Amerson (Franky) of Wrightsville; brother, David Smith of Swainsboro; sisters, Ollie Stevens (Franklin) of Swainsboro, Julia Atkinson Flanders (Bert) of Kite, Linda Forehand (Randy) of Swainsboro and Nellie Green (Maynard Breeden) of Satsuma, Fl.; special nieces, Lisa Hooks (Steve) of Swainsboro and Patricia Beck of Adrian; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
