Mrs. Clara Woods Rewis Young, 59, of Adrian, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, February 24, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Wesley Webb officiating. Interment followed in Old Canoochee Primitive Baptist Church cemetery. The family received friends Friday, February 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Shane Tate, Eric Wheeler, Ben Wheeler, Nick Tanner, Josh Tanner, Johnny Weaver and Blake Rewis.

Mrs. Young was born July 16, 1964, in Macon, to Aaron Woods, Sr. and Dorothy Woods. She enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking and yard work. Clara loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved the soap operas Young and the Restless and Bold and the Beautiful. Clara was an avid game show fan and loved the Georgia Bulldogs. Mrs. Young is preceded in death by her father; brothers, Billy Marsh and Mike Woods; and grandson, C.J. Radford.

Mrs. Young is survived by her mother; fiancée, Daryl Young of Norristown; sons, Blake Rewis and Wesley Rewis, both of Norristown; daughters, Tabatha Rewis and Amy Albritton, both of Norristown; brothers, Aaron Woods, Jr. (Trisha) of Meeks, Tony Woods (Jeanie) of Swainsboro and Bobby Marsh (Tina) of Norristown; sister, Laura Ware of Twin City; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
