Members of the Governor David Emanuel – Adam Brinson Chapter of the DAR joined residents of Emanuel Medical Center Nursing Home to celebrate “America 250,” honoring the nation’s 250th anniversary with a patriotic birthday party. Residents each received a commemorative American flag and joined staff and DAR members in singing “Happy Birthday” to the United States. The celebration concluded with ice cream and cake served to all residents.
