David Emanuel went on the road March 12 to take on the Eagles of Vidalia Heritage in a nonconference matchup. Brody Fleming pitched admirably against the senior-laden foe having the lead in the fifth, but in the end, DEA could not hold on leading to a 17-7 loss. Fleming joined by Layton Terwilliger, Jay Carter, Tucker Free combined for five strikeouts. Cooper Riner went 1-1 and two bases on balls, Richard Braddy went 2-2, and Jay Carter went 2-2 and HBP, led the David Emanuel offense with Free adding a hit and Fleming doubled in the effort.
