DEA Eagles host the Habersham School Patriots

On Thursday, January 25th, the David Emanuel Academy Eagles hosted the Habersham School Patriots at home in Stillmore. Starting the evening was the JV boys’ game where the Eagles fell short with a final score of 35-29. Leading the team in score was Ethan Fields with 13 points followed by Revan Fortner and Richard Braddy each with 5 points, John-Nathan Martin with 4 points, and Ben Griner and Brody Fleming with 1 point each. In the varsity girls’ game, the Eagles battled hard with a comeback win of 45-44. Kylie Bell was lead scorer for the Eagles with 18 points. Emma Proctor contributed 12 points followed by Aubrey Williams with 10 points, Christen McCoy with 3 points and Maddie Perkins with 2 points. The varsity boys ended with a tough loss with a final score of 63-56. Billy Martin led the team scoring 16 points. Randon Williams and Peyton Lee contributed 11 points each followed by Richard Braddy with 10 points, Tony Sutton with 5 points and Ethan Fields with 3 points.
