Mrs. Debra Ann Giles, 63, of Swainsboro, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024, at East Georgia Regional Hospital in Statesboro. Memorial service will be Thursday, February 1, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Morris Brantley officiating.

Debra was born January 22, 1961, to the late Carlos Hall and Natalie Doye. She enjoyed needle craft, quilting and collecting all kinds of bears. Debra loved her family and was a good cook. When she would leave your home, she would always say, “Let me get my child”, refer-ring to her husband. Mrs. Giles is preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Jaylen Chalker; and brother, Carlos Lynn Hall.

Mrs. Giles is survived by her husband, Floyd Giles of Swainsboro; children, Jamey (Jenni) Chalker of Swainsboro, Jeramie (Corrine) Chalker of Brandon, WI, Tina (Ray) McDaniel of Soperton, Missy Dean of Douglas, Allan (Linda) Giles of Vidalia, Jason (Tasha) Giles of East Dublin and Jenni Giles of Wrightsville; grandchildren, Alex, Cody, Emily, McKenzie, Courtney, Rebekah, Rhanen, Jared, Colby, Jacob, Jade Anna, Whitney, Aubury, Preston, Adalee, Atison, Jason Jr., Jordyn, Annabelle, Leighton, Damien, Maci and Raya; great-grandchildren, Kai, Malachi, Easton and Rylee; brother, Dennis (Beth) Hall of Swainsboro; sisters, Madelyne (Dale) Meeks and Teresa Hall; special friends, Mike and Glenda Gore; and many other friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, P.O. Box 22324, New York, NY 10087.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
