Elected officials and guests gathered at The Barn Thursday, September 25 to honor the hardworking men and women of Emanuel County Farm Service Agency and thank them for all their hard work in the year since Hurricane Helene. Everyone enjoyed a meal of barbecue with all the trimmings.
“As we approach one year since this devastating storm, we are so grateful to all those who have worked to assist farmers and their communities the last 365 days and are praying for their continued success in the days ahead. We could not have made it this far without them, and we know they stand ready to keep the recovery going in all four corners of Georgia” said Governor Brian Kemp.
