On Wednesday June 5, 2024, President Verdell Brinson and Past-President Huddie Culbreth attended a President ‘s Seminar for Area 6 of The Georgia Retired Educators Association (GREA).
The meeting was held at The Pittman Park United Methodist Church in Statesboro, and was led by Dr. Gwendolyn Yarborough, Area 6 Director.
During this meeting, Presidents and President-Elects around the area discussed projects and plans for the upcoming year. Each chapter received a GREA Chapter Guide, which Dr. Yarborough discussed in depth as to its use in making chapters run smoothly and providing guidance for the State Projects and other requirements that each chapter should complete during the year.
A delicious lunch was provided and enjoyed by all.
