Franklin Memorial Library is pleased to announce a series of events and our holiday schedule for the week of November 20. The week started with a heartwarming event honoring our local heroes. On November 20 at 9:15 a.m., a Veterans Breakfast was held at the library. This event was organized to honor the service and sacrifice of our local veterans. The breakfast was a token of gratitude from the Franklin Memorial Library and the community for their contribution towards safeguarding our freedoms.

Next in the line of events was the TABS Meeting which was held November 21 at 4:30 p.m. TABS, or Teen Advisory Board, is an initiative of Franklin Memorial Library, providing the teenagers of our community with a platform to voice their opinions, brainstorm ideas, and actively participate in their library’s development. The meeting is open to all teens who want to make a difference, and those who are interested in joining TABS can also attend. However, please note that Franklin Memorial Library will observe the Thanksgiving holiday and remain closed on November 23, 24, and 25. This will allow our staff time to spend the holiday with their loved ones and return with renewed energy to serve the community better. The library will resume its regular operating hours on November 27. Franklin Memorial Library values the community’s understanding regarding the closures and encourages everyone to plan their visits and book borrowings accordingly. In conclusion, Franklin Memorial Library wishes everyone a peaceful and joyous Thanksgiving holiday.
