Franklin Memorial Library invites the community to take advantage of its weekly programs and year-round services. The library’s Genealogy Class will meet on Thursday, August 13, at 3 p.m. Whether you’re beginning your family history journey or have years of research experience, everyone is welcome to attend. The library also continues its regular weekly programming. Veterans Breakfast is held every Monday at 9:15 a.m. providing veterans with an opportunity to enjoy fellowship and connect with one another. Toddler Time takes place every Friday at 10:30 a.m. where young children and their caregivers can enjoy stories, crafts, and interactive activities. In addition to books, DVDs, and public computer access, Franklin Memorial Library offers a variety of services for the community, including free notary services. Patrons needing a document notarized are asked to bring a valid photo ID and wait to sign their documents until they are with a notary.
