Franklin Memorial Library (FML), a beacon of knowledge and community engagement, is proud to announce a series of engaging events for this week in November. These activities, ranging from a Veterans’ Breakfast to a cooking show, are designed to bring together diverse members of our community in a shared love for learning, creativity, and connection. Starting on November 13, FML invited all veterans to join the Veterans’ Breakfast at 9:15 a.m. This gathering is our way of saying thank you to those who have served our country with honor. We encourage all veterans to come and enjoy a hearty meal every Monday morning, compliments of the library. On November 14, teenagers were invited to tap into their creative sides with a Teen Craft session at 4:30 p.m. This fun and interactive event was a great chance for teens to express their creativity, learn new skills, and make new friends. The week continues with Deana’s Cooking Show on November 16, at 10 a.m. Deana will showcase her skills and share some of her favorite recipes. The same day at 4 p.m., the Crazy Math Club will meet. This club is a fantastic opportunity for children to learn about the wonders of mathematics in a fun and relaxed environment. On November 17, we’re inviting toddlers and their caregivers to Toddler Time at 10:30 a.m. This event is specifically designed to engage our youngest patrons with interactive stories and activities. Later in the day, at 4:30 p.m., children are welcome to join us for Letter to Santa, an event where they can write their wish lists and holiday messages to Santa Claus. Finally, on November 18, the Knotty Knitters group will meet at 10 a.m. This is a wonderful chance for knitting enthusiasts to gather, share patterns, improve their skills, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow knitters. All these events will take place at Franklin Memorial Library. We look forward to welcoming all community members, as we believe these activities are perfect opportunities to learn, grow, and connect with others. We hope to see you there!
