Tomlinson Funeral Home & Crematory announces the death of Mrs. Judith “Judy” Giles Beckworth, age 73, of Swainsboro, on Friday, January 17, 2025, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. Funeral services will be Friday, January 24, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Michael Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in Eastbrook Cemetery and Mausoleum. Family will receive friends Thursday, January 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tomlinson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Giles Way, Tommy Way, Michael Wilson, Chris Way, Larry Wilson and Ricky Thompson. Honorary escorts will be Derrick Wilson and Dustin Brantley.

Mrs. Beckworth was born in 1951 to the late Floyd and Margaret Giles. She was a personal caregiver and a member of the Swainsboro Church of The Nazarene. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Beckworth is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Jimmy David Beckworth, Jr.; brothers, Maroey “Speedy” Giles and George Giles; and sister, Martha Way.

Mrs. Beckworth is survived by her daughter, Cindy Suter; son, Jimmy David Beckworth, III (Lorrie); grandchildren, Justin Beckworth (Catherine), Shaina Johnson (Chris) and Vincent Gizzi, Jr. (Laura); five great-grandchildren; brothers, Russel Giles, Gerald Giles and Harris Giles; sisters, Faye Skipper, Carolyn Braswell and Ethel Jones.

Tomlinson Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
